Pollinator Habitat Local Cost Share

Do you want to create an aesthetically pleasing and environmentally helpful garden at your residence? Let’s do it! The Oldham County Conservation District will reimburse 50% of the cost of plants, up to $150, to help community members implement and pollinator habitat.

The cost-share is 50%, not to exceed $150 per property annually. For example, the total cost is $300 - the District will reimburse applicant $150. If the total cost is $250 - the District will reimburse applicant $125

Installation should follow recommended procedures, seeding rates and include a mixture of at least 10 plants (with at least 1 being native grass).

Applications will be accepted year-round.

Approvals will be given on a monthly basis at the sole discretion of the District Board

Approved applications will be assigned a number and applicants will be notified.

Upon completion of the project, landowner must submit receipts (dated after approval) with approval number and include a photo of completed project. *Reimbursement checks will be mailed within 30 days of receipt submission.
