Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony
Each year the district hosts an awards banquet to recognize the Jim Claypool Art and Writing Contest winners, our H. Glenn Watson Scholarship winners, and other program participants.
2024 Annual Awards Banquet
The 2024 Banquet was held at CityPlace in La Grange on April 18th. Beautiful spring weather allowed us to start the evening outdoors, with partners tabling on the patio and families playing cornhole on the lawn.

Travis Bailey works for the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources at the Center for Mollusk Conservation in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Travis spoke about freshwater mussel conservation, management, and restoration in Kentucky.
